What About the Razr?

What about the Razr? Motorola delivered the beloved cell phone to us on September 23, 1983. Cell phones have become a huge wave of the future. Today, texting and using the Internet from your phone is a common occurrence for many.

Twenty six years ago, the cell phone was quite big and awkward. There were no extras available, they were used for calling only. Motorola’s first phone was called the DynaTAC.

In 2004, Motorola made the first big move in improving cell phones. Razr V3 was designed with small and sleek styling. Made of 13.9mm aircraft grade aluminum, with nickel plated keypad, the phone was very lightweight and easy to carry in your pocket.

Motorola continued to put our new cell phones, each one a little better than the last with new design and abilities. They finally reached the top when they released MotoRazr2 V8. This was truly a Luxury Edition phone with a price of $600 to $700. This phone had 18k gold accents, with a blacksnake skin print, and engraved detail work. It was also packed with lots of extras such as: full HTML browsing capabilities with Opera Mobile Browser, Bluetooth compatibility, 2GB-on board Memory, music playing, high speed USB connectivity, and a screen with twice the resolution ability than the first Razr. It was built more durable with chemical hardened glass and stainless steel interior frame, so that it would endure repetitive use.

While this phone is gorgeous to look at and hold, many users can not afford phones like this one. Motorola has presented us with many other options to choose from with different colors and built in extras. The MotoRazr V3 is a good example. Priced between $150 to $300, the MotoRazr has the same razor thin appearance , with anodized aluminum case. The extras include: Bluetooth abilities, built in camera, MPEG4 video playback, and speaker phone.

All Motorola phones can be used with any of your favorite networks like, Sprint, Alltel, GSM, T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular, and Verizon wireless.
