Casing and keypad

This Samsung mobile phone comes in a black color casing with soft to touch rubber-like black plastic on the back and side panel. This gives it a good grip and makes it quite easy to handle. The slots are also covered in soft plastic. The Thumbwheel, the flattened soft touch Send, End, Home and Back keys are all integrated to add to the sleek look of the phone.

Display screen

The handset has a large 2.3 Inch color screen which provides up to 65,000 colors on a TFT LCD screen. It has a clear and bright landscape-oriented display with QVGA. It has 5 levels of backlighting. There are two integrated digital cameras (1.3 mega pixels in the back and VGA in the front) which allow you to do video calls over 3G networks and also record video footage. Sound quality provided by the earpiece is on high level in both volume and sound quality

Technology

Mobile phone and connectivity options on the Samsung i600 Blackjack include tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 and HSDPA (3.5G), EDGE, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth enabling connectivity to a wide range of networks and devices. It is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 with Direct Push Technology due to this the messages are delivered instantly to the device. It has software with which you can view all your attachments to such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and image formats including BMP, JPEG and GIF using Picsel Viewer. All this can be accessed with easy one-click access.

This Samsung mobile phone comes with 64 Mbytes of RAM memory & 128 Mbytes of ROM memory plus the user can extend the phones memory capabilities by adding a MicroSD™ removable memory card. Other added features include blue tooth, speakerphone and built-in voice recognition. It also has the Pocket Internet Explorer for browsing the internet.
